Every post is a photograph
No text-only posts, no vertical short-form. It is enforced in the database rather than the design, so it cannot quietly stop being true.

The exposure comes with it
Camera, lens, ISO, aperture, shutter and focal length, read out of the file when you upload and written under the frame. Correct any of it by hand — and level a horizon before you post, without touching the original.

Your name travels with the work
Your handle is watermarked into the copy the world sees, and a restop carries the credit with it — one photograph, one like count, one photographer. Ten people can pass it on and it is still one card in a feed, not ten.

Four feeds, and you pick which
Latest, Following, Featured and For you — swipe between them, and switch off the ones you do not use. Discover, hashtags and search sit on top, so a photograph is found by what is in it rather than by who posted it.

Albums, a wall, and real insights
Put a series in order — and find the frame you want by hashtag, however long ago you posted it. A short text wall on your profile. Views, likes, comments, saves and shares on any photograph and across the whole account.

Members only, properly
Photographs, profiles and comments are served to signed-in accounts and nobody else, enforced by the database rather than by hiding screens. One shareable link per photograph is the single exception.
Still coming
Location, so a photograph can say where the light was. Tips and creator subscriptions — built, not switched on, and never yet charged. A vault for your untouched originals. Push notifications. And landscape video, treated the way a photograph is treated here — the credit attached, the settings written underneath. It is vertical short-form this app turns down, not moving pictures.
Why 406
Built by a photographer, made for everyone in Montana.
406 is Montana's area code. I am a working photographer in the eastern half of it, and I built this because Montana photography deserved somewhere built for it — not a feed that treats a hard-won frame like everything else it can put in front of you. The light here is worth the drive and the wait, and the people who chase it are worth a room of their own.
Anybody can sign up, from anywhere. It reads as somewhere rather than nowhere, and that is the whole of it.
